Hello,
It's been awhile but I have to tell you that my cousin Yumi likes to watch TV. Yesterday, mom put on Discovery Channel's Frozen Planet. There was a scene with a pack of wolves chasing a herd of bison. And Yumi started growling at the TV.
Silly...

Happy November
Hello!
Momma finally came and rescued me from the country! I think she missed me lots because I got LOTS of attention. I got back rubs, tummy scritches, car ride, ice cream and a drip in the river. Ok, I really don't like water THAT much but I do if my cousins are playing too.
We got home on Sunday and I noticed that my bed was all messed up. I wonder WHO was sleeping in my bed?!?!?
AHA!!! well, I suppose it's ok if you use my bed, you are family :) Well, that's it for now, Happy November people don't forget to turn back your clocks this Sunday!

| See where it's dark in the water? It had a very fast current there |
| I stayed near the shore (sharks can't get you here) |

Momma sent me to the country
Hi All,
Have you been wondering where i've been? She sent me to the country to stay with Auntie, Mr. Chris and Filly Fillster. She said it was because she was so busy at work and that I'd have more fun in the country. I am having fun but I miss my own bed.
Mom your jobs sucks :(

A good Sunday
This weekend my cousin Filly and Auntie Pauline came to town. But Filly had oral surgery because she cracked her tooth chewing on a deer antler. (No, Filly didn't kill a deer) So Dr. Mike said Filly should have a quiet weekend and rest up. And we listen to Dr. Mike because he's the one who fixed my leg. It meant that Filly got pampered ALL weekend. She got to rest in my bingo bed, she got to visit cousin Traci while I stayed home. Auntie even made her special breakfast and dinner of fried eggs, chicken stock and kibble! By today, she was feeling better and they finally went home! (ummm, just kidding Filly but you are more fun when we can rough house.)
After Filly left, mom sat on the couch and watched Japan vs. USA World Cup Soccer. Mom doesn't know much about soccer but she said it was win-win because she was rooting for both teams. Japan eventually ended up winning the World Cup and that was exciting. I think soccer would be fun to play, big field, a ball to chase, sounds like lots of fun!
Mom decided to work on the yard after the game was over and I sat in the dirt. She finished breaking down the final pieces of the old rotten deck and threw them away. Yup, I wanted to help mom but she kept shooing me away. And when the neighbor stopped to chat, I got in trouble because I was whining. Seriously, I know that there are doggies on the other side of the fence and I want to play with them. Mom got done with the yard and watered the plants. I figured that was it for the evening but guess what!?! Mom started packing her pack!
We left the house, walked down Cornwall and into the Presidio through the Arguello gate. I wanted to go down the Ecology Trail but mom had other ideas. We walked by Julius Khan and all the flowers are still in bloom. We went up towards the Presidio Gate but then headed down Lover's Lane that parallels some of the old Officer's quarters. Then we crossed Barnyard, (I think) and went by the Y were mom works. The place was closed but the doggie bowl was still outside with some water in it. I wasn't really interested in the yucky water that some other dog slobbered in so we moved on. We headed down to Crissy Field but the short cut mom took was not a short cut any more. The Presidio Trust is doing major construction and we had to back track to Halleck to get to Crissy Field.
The estuary was kind of windy but it felt good because I was hot. I got lots of complements as we walked the flat section. :) When we got to the big grassy field, mom let me off the leash and I got to run around a bit. But, that was short lived, mom knew I was looking for mud holes to sit in and she quickly put me back on the leash.
At this point, I think we were close to 5-6 miles and we still had to walk home. Mom decided to head home by way of the pet cemetery. That place is creepy! It's under the bridge and the traffic above echos as the cars zoom overhead. We got out of there and headed by the stables and up towards the art installations. Mom check the mileage on her My Tracks app when we got to the Fox house and it was at 7 miles!! Oh my paws!! Mom kept saying "only a little bit longer" yeah right. Then we neared the golf course.
At the golf course there is a way to cut through to get to the avenues but they close the gates at dusk. It was getting close to that time but as we neared the gate, it was closed already. That's when we met Gretchen & Hannah and they were stuck on the inside of the golf course. The two nice ladies were taking a short cut on their bikes through the course and got trapped inside. I think they swore a few times as they saw the gate was closed too. Mom asked if they needed any help and suggested that if they 'throw their' bikes over the fence she would catch them. Somehow, I knew I didn't want to be apart of 'bike catching' so I stayed by the other fence. Gretchen and Hannah lifted up their bikes and handed them over to mom. It was kind of funny watching them but both of them got over and away they went.
We finally hit the home stretch and made it home. A nice fresh, clean bowl of water waiting for me. When mom turned off the My Tracks app, we had gone 11.8 miles!! Wow, I guess it was a good Sunday after all.
I'm beat, g'nite

Still here!!
I'm still here!! Momma's been working on the yard lately and is too tired to blog for me. I can't imagine why? She said that our backyard will be pretty and we can entertain. I think entertaining is something like me 'chasing my tail'. It makes people happy! I can't wait :)

May update
Hi all,
It's been awhile and mom has been too lazy to update my blog for me. Things have been a whirlwind for the month of May. My little cousin, Stacy from Arizona came to visit us and we showed her the best parts of Northern California while she was here. They got to go to Yosemite for a few days and you know what that means for the doggies - that's right 'kennel'. No doggies are allowed on the hiking trails in Yosemite. What a stupid rule! Although, I can understand why they don't let doggies on the trail. I know that 'some people' don't pick up their doggie poop :(
Anyhow, momma is here in Angels, while Filly's momma & Mr. Chris are down south. It's odd being in this big house with nobody here. At night Filly misses her momma and she goes upstairs to sleep. We didn't want Filly to be alone so we went upstairs to sleep too. But where should I sleep?!?!

This bed is too small
but Filly manages to fit
This bed is too big
This bed is OK
This bed is just right... big enough for all of us :)
